The ReMoved Films have been created with the intent to bring light to the often unknown subjects of Foster Care and Child Abuse/Neglect. The films are available online to watch for free on YouTube, here is the first in the series. Warning: you may need a box of tissues. Many, if not all, our tamariki will have experiences like those portrayed here. Are you willing to suffer hurt and rejection, time and again in order to really make a difference in these lives?
Donation and Volunteer Information
Siloam Foundation is based in Tauranga, New Zealand, a very popular resort / holiday destination as well as the largest shipping port and cruise liner stop. In the above photo you can see part of our beautiful city and "The Mount" or more correctly Mauao.
As a registered charity in New Zealand, all donations over $5.00 are tax deductible. We will issue a tax certificate at the end of each financial year to all donors that have given $5.00 or more.
To enable us to do this and get the certificate to you, we will need your full name, address and email. Please use the contact form at the bottom of the page to send this information to us. We will email the certificate to you in pdf format unless you specifically request that we send a paper copy via snail mail.
At present we are in the development phase of our journey. We are working to develop our Policies and Procedures. Once these are drafted we will submit them for an initial audit appraisal by the Ministry of Social Development.
We are also looking for those interested in learning about being involved in our intentional family homes. There is significant learning and training required to ensure all our team are able to deliver the best possible living environment for our at risk tamariki, whanau members.
